I have experienced a lot, and have learned some valuable tips and tricks about what to do, and what NOT to do, to have a successful adventure. Ethos: Several years ago, I took up backpacking after receiving a serious medical diagnosis. It was suggested that I find and do the things I like to do. I don t think backpacking was what my doctor s had in mind, but it sure has been therapeutic and healing for me! Thesis: I learned that there are many important things one needs to know, and certain items one should bring on a backpacking trip, in order to have a safe, successful and memorable adventure.
